I definitely thought the food was overpriced for the quality, but I understood that the location was the real star of the show. I ordered a fish dish that was fine, but a bit bland and could have used more salt, acid, and some other herbs or spices to elevate the flavor. Nothing so bad as to send the food back, but just a comment on the style. We both thought that our food was a bit under-seasoned and a tad overcooked. Service was excellent, and we always felt well taken care off. If you can, ask for a table by the window-that's the real reason people are there. The food is not that creative, you're paying mostly for the location. a bit disappointed about this food at this price. If you're a well-traveled and non-pretentious foodie, you may be. You're mostly paying for the view and the location. The restaurant had a great wine list, excellent cocktails, and their food was just fine. We ate here one night while staying at the Salish Lodge.
